Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but...

My central locking failed. If I depress the button from inside the car it all works (every door locks) but turning the key in any of the locks from outside does nothing.

Can anyone advise?

if you take the handle off from the car youll see that the componments that turn it have shattered, mine did the same and i currently use a golf key and barrel in a polo handle to lock to unlock it.

Yes, that does help. A lot. The barrel itself was the problem with mine, too. The central locking actually works perfectly!
