HELP! Indicator relay location?

Featured Replies

Hey, does anyone know where the indicator relay is on an X reg Polo (6n2)?

I've looked behind the fuse box near the driver door, under the steering column, behind the hazard button in the dash and under the bonnet!!

Thanks

In case anyone else has this problem, on the 6n2 which I think is years 2000-2002 the indicator relay is actually part of the hazard warning switch where the centre vent is.

You need to remove the radio, prize out the rectangle storage compartment, unscrew the 2 screws on either side and then one screw at the back, lift out the entire ventilation unit, then at the base of the hazard switch push the two metal spring levers and pull out the switch.

The replacement part can be bought from a VW dealership for £20, don't bother trying to source a cheap aftermarket part as I don't think they exist
