Yup been lurking here a while, recently past my test (monday) and bought a little 1.0 MK5 Polo.

Not many mods at the mo, pretty much all standard but I'm quite happy with how it looks anyway. Hopefully do a little bit of small tasteful stuff (Short ariel, GTI grill, etc.) in the upcoming weeks then splash out on some coileys.

Thanks man. Yeah I'm watching a couple on ebay at the mo, big problem is insurance to be honest.

my insurance now after 2 years of drivin 1 yr no claims and the car being lowered on 40mm springs, alloys and foglights is less than £800, all you have to do is haggle the premium down

i may have a set of 40mm springs for sale if u prefer

D90's are nice dude.. but it depends if you want to break the mold or not, they're common as chips now!

Picked up these 15" BBS' the other day:

And put em on the yesterday, here's how she sits now along with the GTI grill, stubby ariel etc.

Looking like a bit of a monster truck at the mo to be fair, coilovers should be orderd and fitted in about 2 weeks.

Probably go out and take some better shots tonight :)

Yeah the guy who i bought them off could only find 3, one of which was missing the BBS centre.

I'm thinking maybe chrome centre caps with a red BBS logo, just looking at a couple on ebay right now

looks good! will look much better when on the coilies and smaller tires! are the centre caps for those the ones that twist and lock into place? if so, panda has a set that I'm sure he'll be able to sell if you're in need of some. they've got a BMW centre cap instead of the BBS though!

Pretty big update. Coilies got fitted last weekend so thought it was time for some pics. Still on standard wheels though.

need naa, they all needed new tyres to stop rubbing the arches and i just couldnt afford it really.
