Good Points

Stupidly original - all parts that have been changed have been kept as well

Plenty of recipts from the last 12 months - some of which have been genuine VW parts

all the usual rust traps are clean from rust

inner arches are like new

Bad Points

Gearbox syncro has gone between 1st and 2nd - meaning it wont go into first - i have been driving this car for 12months like this and is no issue what so ever

Slight bit of paint rash coming in on the NSF wing - been quoted £80 to have this fixed at a paint shop.

Alot of time and effort has been put into this car keeping it as it should be - the car has been used daily for the past 12 months and has covered almost 10,000 miles - my job has taken a different turn and will be doing a lot of miles up and down the M4 for me to warrent keeping this.

The car has been totally flawless since ownership and will be sadly missed. and would love this to go to someone who will look after it as well as I have.

£1000ono

Car is located in Cardiff

hey Ceejay - thanks for your kind comment - i think the price is fair concidering the how rare and such low milage of it...

anyone who has seen it will understand that its quite possibly one of the cleanest original polos left in the country

good luck with the sale mate. if it's a 4 speed box, i have a spare, £20 but it would need to be collected from basingstoke/andover

worth every penny!

dont find them like this any more, free bump for you man

i got it 12 months ago from a guy in cardiff - not sure on the life before that - i know it came in via someone from the isle of man and had only done 12k! its been lowered and had the botched backbox replaced with a custom hidden stainless item

I've done 10k in this with no issues in the past 12 months - just fancy something quicker and more motorwayable

its either sell or change the motor

  • 2 weeks later...

Is this still for sale? really interested in this as only live about an hour away. just wondering , you say its sold with stock shocks and springs does that mean youre keeping the philj's or selling both lots ? cheers hopefully arrange to come and see it some time.

its getting very close to MOT time and looks like ill have to buy a new shock as the front left has died...

I'm seriously thinking of keeping this now and putting a valver engine in it
