Yeah...like yourself i struggled to get decent 14's for the G40.Didn't want

something ott but wanted to keep the car looking kind of standard...ish

Polo6n1600i wa s selling a set so i bought them and about a month later

got 5 of them for £36 on e-bay from a guy who was only 6 miles away...

Centras of some description?

Would look pretty sweet on the Coupe and fairly original..

Rob.

i'd get on the blower to Image, they'll sort you right out :-D

i'd say TH lines now that they're not the 'in' wheel anymore, but nothing original is it :(

if you look hard enough there are loads of cool wheel in 14". bbs splits can be found in 14" though they are very rare. a lot of jap import mx5s come over with snazzy split rims in 14" too

You can get 14" RS's. Look at the Derby in this months Golf+ ;)

A popular BBS BMW E30 wheel was 14in, i had one and didn't have the centre cap for it but it cost me a fiver and i sold it for a tenner. Bet they're fairly accessible on the bay or in Auto Trader ads and without scene tax.

I may just run it on g60 steels until I find some creme rims....

Could use my 13' tramonts but there for my caddy hah..

lotus rims are 4x114 iirc?

Are oz routes 14s? or they 15s?

Either way, they look saaaweet on grungeisdeads yellow peril mk2 8-)

I'm running on a set of these and there nice, and theres so many ways to paint/polish them.

Teardrops or montreals are OEM and period too, if your looking for that original look. Understated though. I have a set of each :-)

TH mono.

colour coded or polished would look cool. Bet they not easy to find though.

14" with decent tyre size is better than 13" wheels in my opinion. The 14" on my mk3 lookso much better than 13" with arch gap or having a car too low to drive properly :-) I once had some 13" smoors on my old mk2 coupe S and they looked lost in the arches and i was low.

Just keep checking ebay and sale forums. Something will turn up :-)
