Fjord blue 6n

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Thought i'd throw up a few pics of the 6n,

Its a fjord blue 16v open air, nice pimp spec.

Overall the car is a nice clean example - it has a few cosmetic issues that need addressing and it needed a good clean when i got it!

I've owned the car almost two weeks now,

There were a quick list of jobs to do asap!

-Clean it

-Remove debadged grille and fit the badged grille

-Repaint badges and fit

&

-Buy fresh reg plates as the new ones were tired.

Here's some pics..

Fitted this last night :-)

Cupra gearnob.

It came on coilovers, with tinted front lamps, de-wipered at the rear and airbox drilled.

Hopefully there will be some pre-poloshow updates before the end of the month... depends how much a child costs to run!

Comments welcome.

Thats right man lol... Red recently belonged to my g/f's brother, he swapped red for this then promptly sold it to me as he was unable to run a vavler through losing his job and things. Small world :)

Love the colour ! clean ride !

Pete, elaborate a little more on that loon in the garage please. . .

The saloon is in bits at the minute, I've sold the NZ and bought a 16v lump for it!

haha, fair play.

16v loon ftw!

Ha cheers man, it will be great going over the 100bhp mark and beyond!

I love my 6n and thats fairly bog standard, so the saloon should go quite well..

I'll get a thread going for the saloon this weekend i think - i did have one but I'm classing this as a fresh start! :-)

colour is amazing !

looks clean mate

yep, my old valver :) i bought it standard, lowered it then got bored  was a very rust free example though and drove really well, glad to see it still getting some love 8-)

Awesome colour. I would keep the car it as it is!

Ahh good to know who had it before me.. i was looking for the previous owners threads on here for the past few days before you posted

Thanks man, it does look great looking like a standard valver, but I'm not able to keep cars standard unfortunetly.. its a disease!

The only mods i'll be doing will be complementary - not a big fan of spoiling a good thing!.. the colour is perfect, its already sat on coils.. all i'll be doing is tidying up the interior with maybe a set of mk3 recaro's, replace worn bushes, powdercoat some shiz, replace the brakes and just keep the car spick and span. Theres paint niggles that the pictures dont show, but they'll be addressed later in the year and hopefully a fresh fjord blue 6n will be appearing at poloshow next year..

I've had these wheels for 2 years and never ran them, so as of 10 mins ago i got the ball rolling to have some adapters made for them..

Dont think they'll be on for the show but i'll get a good few summer weeks out of these hopefully!
