hiya mate, did you have the engine running before it was put in your garage?

also do u have the pump from out of the tank? I'm looking for a gt lump to do a conversion into my mk1 golf

it was removed from a working exc condition polo GT then just sat (not hooked up) in a mk1 golf for 6 months, the owner then decided they wanted spi 1.3 instead for insurance purposes so i converted the mk1 to run full polo mk3 spi set up, pumps / loom / fuel lines etc etc, the gt lump was then sat in the corner until recently i'm having a mass clearout.

unfortunately the pump has been used on a 180bhp breadvan g40 conversion so no pump but i can give you pointers with your conversion if you need it.

was supposed to be buying a full conversion off a guy this week for 200 but then he stopped replying, think he sold it to someone else!

Have you got the in-line fuel pump?

I'm completly new to polo's and juct bought a mk2F breadvan with a abd engine in it, the engine has just gone bang so how hard would it be to put this lot init, asuming you still have it.

i still have it, had a fair bit of interest but no serious buyers.

to fit into bready (mk3) you just need to change the inline pump to mpi (gt / g40 ) item, may be able to source one for £30. i'll be fitting a 180 - 200 bhp g40 into a bready this month which involves much the same.

Is a full built up engine and box?

Also does it come with any coolant/breather hoses?
