what car for a drift car ?

Featured Replies

or a cheap 328i e36, can pick 4drs up for about a grand. no point spending loads of cash on a car youre gonna learn about going sideways in because there is a large chance you might stack it

my old flatmate had one and believe me he could slide that thing..... all learnt on public roads aswell :p

200sx all the way, but I'd aim for an S14 if you stretch your budget as the standard chassis is much better than the S13..

depends on how much you willing to spend, can get fairly cheap 180sx's on pistonheads seen them going for like 500

also might be worth checking the drifworks forums

MORRIS MINOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cheap effective sideways fun and will show those handbrake turning yobs in the McDonalds car park who is the drifting king.

i'd get something cheap anyway. You might think your DK but you'll more than likely stack it lol

x2

MX5 all the way, had one was great fun.

If you can afford something with a blower on it then go for it but otherwise grab a eunos import with a torsen or standard LSD.

I had a brief flirt with a well setup MR2 and they aren't made for drifting but do grip more than anything else i've driven.

The imports come with LSD's as standard, if anything you just need more power..

Yeah, the import MX5's (badged 'Eunos') came with LSD's as standard, which you'll need to drift.
