No, not realy just make your own manifold, take a turbo from golf TD.

Solve the oil feeder and return adjust your pump make a new downpipe, start it up and SMILE.

whats with the jack mounted in the engine bay?

Air filter used to be there, but now the air filter is going down behinde the frontlight so that space where the filter box were had to be filled up so why not take the "tool & jack box". :-)

This week i´ve started a new project phase, my turbo converted polo diesel will now be heavy updated.

The engine will produce approx. 170bhp and 230Nm.

Clutch, what can i use? 200mm?? or even bigger with mods?

Can i use the G40 clutch with my flywheel?

Gearbox is there ant thing u can do to increase the stiffness and strength?

Do i have to do any thing at all??

Gearbox is 8p, ratios, can i change any thing to get the revs down and increase topspeed?

The difference between the gearboxes like che, ceg i.a? i know the ratios are diffrent but is there any thing to gain material wise?

With the 8p gearbox topspeed is approx. 165km/h due to the rev problem on dieselengines. need more speed!!!!

please help is needed fast in this so please help me out here??

bigger wheels and tyres will give you longer gear ratios/higher top end

i doubt there are many places that supply bigger gears. demon teaks maybe? you'll probably get a flywheel and clutch there

Good skills mate, nice to see something different. Iv been wanting a 1W lump for a while now

G40 200mm clutch should suffice I would have thought. Any bigger and i reckon you'd be looking at clearance issues!

Go for a paddle type clutch if it really needs it.

Now the car is assembled and the performance pump change started.

A very hard working period, I can promise, but now you can drive the car in the rain again. This update has been hard,working around the clock more or less.

But just wanted to show how the car looks now.

with that much black smoke your car will be hard to see, however everyone will know you put your foot down.

Hi.

today we were up on the dyno again.

Only ~2.7bar boost pressure.

and i know it holds for up to 2.9 bar boost.

That would have give us approx 174bhp.

So the 250% power increase project have reached its goal. :)
