Try adding your parents on to the policy

And the price comparison websites

Also say it's garaged at night.

Adding my mum and dad to my policy for my starlet brought it down about 900£!!!

But how do you add your parents? Who should be a policy holder and named drivers? Would it be still cheaper if my dad cant transfer his NCB? I've also passed my test recently, and cheapest I've got is 1300 pounds with co-op. I was hoping to get something about 80-100 quid a month.

Cheers, Michael.

Best thing to do is have yourself as main driver, and putting your parents as named drivers, it means then you can gain your own NCB and bring it down again even more :)

£1300 isnt bad if youve just passed to be fair. I've only recently managed to get it down to around £700 and thats with both parents on as named drivers and thats with having my licence almost 5 years but with no NCB and no accidents.

Alright, I've been always adding my dad as policy holder and me as a named driver. So if I put both of my parents as named drivers would it make it cheaper even more than one parent?

It has for me in the past, always put my mother down since it and it brings it down, but putting my father on brings it down slightly more. Could be worth trying :)
