Noted

you washed and waxed before lacquering????? :? thats a first...

just to note that wax would react with lacquer.

by the way that isnt a half bad effort matey. just flat with 2000 rhino paper dry then blow down and tack rag it down and then slap that lacquer on.. 8-)

Hey mate, the previous lady owner of mine left me with a large scuff on my front flash red bumper, right on the corner. Can you post a pic of yours pre-spray? I'm just wondering how big yours was and how big an area i need to repaint to fix mine. Also, whose colour match paint did you use?

Sorry dont have any pics of presprayed bumper mate! but it sounds like you've got the same sort of scratches i had,

i resprayed exactly half of the bumper - the paint i used was hycote and the match was spot on - remember to use "red plastic primer" then give it a good sand down ;)

~Nice one thanks!

As said above wet and dry if with 2000 paper until it's smooth.

Whatever you do, don't wax it, it will react with the laquer and give you fish eyes in the paint.
