yeah they will :-D only troble is moneyyy

can only seem to find them around the 700 mark with tyres

I've seen them go for about 4-500 on good ol' ebay. That's with tyres.

Lowering should defintly be first, you can always cruise on stealies  Mines lowered 40mm and still looks shite! Handles brilliantly though.

Oh, and an idea for the back badge. Maybe colour code the centres then paint the logo black?

decided to black the badges today :-D so heres how i got on :-)

giving the badge a wet rub down coz the paint comes out a lot smoother this way "I hope"

front grill off ready for front badge to come out :-D

Looks good, but it would have been a lot easier if you'd taken the badge apart to paint it :p

Any idea how to take it apart coz it seems to be rivited  do you have to drill them or something ??

You can either drill it or melt the bits where it's held together (I used a lighter) and then it will pull apart

If you're doing the front badge too, then what I did to get mine apart was slide something between the VW and back parts and carefully go around and prise them apart.

Ok i'm pretty crap at trying to explain things  But hopefully that helps a bit!

only trouble is now does any one know where i can get a plug from ??

I have one on my car, but it came with it. Shouldnt be hard to find a gromet to fit that hole though.

Should paint the middle of the badge silver to match the body, the parts that you masked. Looks alot better already though.

Also spotted that Beetle in the back ground

Halfords is a good place for these plugs aparently :)

went to halfords yesterday and found the right grommet straight away

fits a treat :-D

was thinking of taking my wheel trims off and just cruising on steels but it just looks terrible haha :-(

i think it would look better if it was lowered on standard steels coz i saw a lupo with standard steels and lowered yeterday and it looked pretty cool :-D

Mine's lowered 40mm and still looks far to high. I'd go 80 to start with, get some coilies, that way you can always go lower ;)

I've jsut got a set of 14'' steelies for my car, while I refurb my Wolfrace (halford!) wheels! Until I can afford something nicer.
