Brakes: VW1, mintex pads, all new break lines.

Wheels and Tyres:Steels at the monet but i have some 13x6 et13 KN diamonds and some yoko 175/50/13s

Comments: Well basically i thought i better put up some pictures off this now as I've been collecting parts for about 6months now to make a GT. i was offered this shell and couldnt refuse because i love the colour so much, it was respreyed

before i owned it it was converted from a GT to a G40 6 years ago then it melted a piston so it was broke for parts and i picked up the shell

Here are some bad pictures of when i got it home earlyer

ha you should come over and give me a hand spookey

i still need to replace the rear beam either with a standard one from a car in the field or try and find a GT/G40 one

ill try and get it ready for the engine this weekend!

whats the front splitter off mate like that wouldnt mind 1 myself

  • Author

The front splitter looks to be a mk3 golf cl one just cut a bit, smoothed and modified to fit. I'm not sure what the rear one is tho

anyone with a cheap GT rear axel nearby?

got the carpet and seatbelts in and cleaned the engine up a bit need to give it a pressure wash later, i'm considering an 8p box but I'm undecided

What are peoples thoughts on g40 inlet-manifolds on GTs?

For sale now guys need it gone been sat for three year now

Your inbox must be full bud. How much are you after for it?

  • Author

it should be empty now

I'm after £2300 on steels no mot

its been in storage for 2 years at a farm and theres a few dents in it now i have photos of these trying to upload it steel runs sweet I'm doing a forsale ad now

Did your finger hit the "0" button twice or are you genuinely after £2300 for non-original G40 with no MOT that's been sat around for 3 years, has damaged bodywork, suffering belt alignment issues and is currently sat on steel wheels?

GLWS.

Lovely car but agree with the point above. You could get a genuine one with mot for less.
