The air intake is going back to standard though as my bay isnt going as clean and empty as that.

Just given it a headgasket change and a very good clean up. Also painted the block, head and gearbox up.

Should be being dropped into my MK3 on thursday.

Will also still be running with the engine cover, as long as it doesn't look odd with the alloy cam cover from a MK2.

Just a shame that the car it came out of is now in car heaven. It is living on in various other cars around the midlands though

haha thats mad seeing pic's of stuff iv done in the past, i wish i still had that car. I'm glad its still kinda living on. mint little engine's.

i did have bike carbs on it for a few days, i took it to the tatton park vw show and someone offered me good money for the set up.

so the R5 mirrors are still about then? i thought they suited much better than the big standard ones.
