Here for sale is my Seat Ibiza Cupra R. Unfortunately the time comes that I have to sell due to a change of jobs I will be commuting a 60 mile round trip and so have decided I will need a diesel, really am gutted to be selling the most enjoyable car I have driven.

The car has FSH to 57k and then the car was owned by a main dealer mechanic and Seat enthusiast since 2007 and so he carried out the maintenance himself. It had an Oil and Filter change every 3000m, new Gates PowerGrip cambelt and tensioner at around 60k, new front discs and pads, and a new air con condenser.

Since I’ve had the car it has been fantastic! The only thing I’ve replaced is the MAF sensor as the car was fitted with a Pipercross Air Filter which killed the MAF. This was replaced with a genuine VW one (which I have the receipt) which has a 2 year warranty. The filter has since been replaced with a Jetex one which is recommended as it does not cause any problems with the MAF. I have also fitted a new Bosch battery which has a 5 year warranty.

I also gave the car a full service at 69827m / 01/10/10 with genuine Seat Oil Filter and 5W40 Fully Synthetic Oil and Bosch Super 4 plugs which I have all the receipts to prove.

I have two Rolling road readouts, the one I had done produced ‎188 bhp, 202 ft/lbs of torque which are excellent figures. Looking at the MOT history from 2006, the car has never failed an MOT or had any advisories. I have the full owner’s manual, service book, lots of receipts, alarm fitting certificate, spare key and alarm fob, V5, several previous MOTs etc.

This really is an excellent example but like any it does have a couple of bad points – the bodywork is overall very good however it does have a small amount of rust on the driver’s side rear arch, a small dent on the passenger wing (car park!) some lacquer peel around the door handles and the odd mark and stone chip as to be expected. The wheels aren’t the cleanest, they aren’t badly curbed but have brake dust in between the spokes. The interior is also very clean but the passenger door is missing its speaker cover.

Overall, the car is mechanically faultless which is why I chose this car, it took me a long time to find. It may not be the mintest but the bodywork and wheels could easily be sorted, if bothered, professionally for around £200 which has been taken into account in the price.

I am an enthusiast and have owned various VW’s in the past which have been show standard so this is not your usual abused car.
