Hey, I have some 1972 Jensen Healey 13inch alloys and i was thinking of refurbing them myself and maybe putting them on my polo. I've never done this before, i know they need striping but do you have any advice or opinions.

They'd look good Powdercoated black with Diamond cut edges...Rocco Jocco styleeee.

Iirc these are not 4 x 100 alloys though are they...?

Acid dip them to get rid of the shite! Then id polish the lip bits n paint the inner doodars in a cool colour.

Shot blasting would be ok if you planned on powdercoating. However polishing would take an age and all of your fingers after blasting.

jensen healey rims are 4x4" or 4x101.6 in new money, so really you should be fitting these with spigot rings to centre them and wobble bolts to attach them to the hub. I'm off to ebay to hunt for some jensen rims!

pm charlie as she refurbed a set for her cabby and they look fooking sweet, black with gold detailing.

they were walshies and he was gonna do the roulette table, that coupled with some custom roulette table spinners for centre caps and you would be on to an absolute winner
