well this has been my project for about a month now. and at a mates house today it started running lumpy then just stoped. it wouldnt turn over like it was jammed solid them it turned about an inch. now wont turn. we have had the started motor off to see if that was jammed its fine and not snapped. we had the rocker off and the cam is fine and hasnt dropped any valves. it had sufficient amount of oil in when this happened. but i no longer have any funds left or time left to arrect the problem as i would if i could. engine was running fine before this. with 8psi of boost.

we think that something has broke and is jamming the flywheel. as had the same problem on an old valver i had split the box from the engine cleaned it all out and a new starter motor later and is still going strong now. just haven't the time, so could be an easy fix, if i do get the time and that is the problem and it is running again. the price will be alot higher!!

right about the car. just had new windscreen fitted yesterday morning. front mounted intercooler behind the front bumper grill so cant be seen. new oil sandwich plate. new 1.5mm decompression plate, 2 new headgaskets. new adjustable fuel pressure regulator. new alloy intercooler piping. new silicone fitting, new 13mm silicone hose(all blue). rothe 6n turbo manifold sprayed heat resistant chrome. the block was all cleaned and also sprayed chrome. rocker cover sprayed pink with blue boltand filler cap. inlet manifold sprayed blue. stainless steel twin dtm backbox. all of the engine bay has been detailed and most of the wires have been hidden. lowered on spring. the rear wheel are running camber so wheels could sit inside arches. there is barley any rust on the car at all. the sill have a few dints in them a few are quite big but easily sorted. 16v rear lights, angel eye head lights, legal pressed plates, 16v rear bumper, smoothed 16v front bumper.(both the grill on each side) ats cup alloys, with really good tyres on. debadged grill. removed rear wiper. 16v interior.

there is probably alot i have forgoton. as you can see alot of time money and effort has gone into this project and i`m apsolutely gutted that i have to sell it. but i need a car for commuting.

car is a 1999 vreg in silver, 1.6 CL has no mot or tax. was booked in for tomoro. as was going to take it to clubpolo, but had to cancel due to engine problem. totally gutted.

forgot to mention. the turbo is a ko3 with an adjustable forge racing actuator. the bumpers are blue and the mirrors are green. and there is a dint near the drivers side rear arch all of this was gonna get sorted when i was going to respray the whole car.

hello mate any mk3 or mk4, but i have the decompression plate for the mk4, so if wanted to use it on a mk3 you would need to get a decompression plate made.
