Hi, I have for sale a 1.4 16v polo 5dr 1997. The car was passed on to me by my sister who has owned the car since 2002. Unfortunatly I'm unable to keep it as its not big enough for my needs.

The car is mechanicaly very sound, I've just put a new MOT on it and all it needed was a rear handbrake cable. The car has always been maintaned regardless of cost.

The gearbos has been stripped down in november 2007 and all bearings etc were replaced along with a new clutch at a cost of £675

I also have heaps of recipts for work that has been carried out aswell as all previous mots.

The car has covered 100850 miles which i guess is around average for its age. The car has been owned by a lady driver for the last 8 years so has had an easy life!

Paintwork wise it could do with the bonnet respraying as the laquer has peeled off in one corner, however this is reflected in the price.
