The end result of the B*starding at CIT. Why do people feel it necessary to touch/damage someone elses car?

IMG_0679.jpg

I had to readjust my rear shoes so took the opportunity to to clean out the brake dust and clean up the drums.

IMG_0684.jpg

Since last time, the standard exhaust has been repaired and raised, car got a service and new sump seal.

and last sat night we finshed up a homebrew exhaust de cat straight through to back box, made from a few other exhausts I managed to get a hold of. Its only for a bit of fun.

Here are some pics of the homebrew, which I ended up having to weld the down pipe to the mani to stop the blowing with all my sheared bolts. the ehaust is after melting the h/brake cable casing so that will be getting a change when I change the exhaust back.

Firstly one night I finally got round to using some balck carpet that was always going to come in handy from a house we were clearing out.

I carpeted the boot albeit badly

IMG_0883.jpg

next the front wipers were a bit sad so off they came for a quickie spray job.

much improved.

I've had the ides for a full scuttle tray to repalce the piece of plastic for a while now. its all cut and not quite how I planned it, just need to mount it now... few issues with that.

For all my travels i decided a roof rack was a necessary addition. so the citreon dispatch that was lying around for a few years finally found its use. I shortened it appropriately and then made brackets for securing it to the roof gutter.

IMG_0879.jpg

I also aquired an AER cam/rocker cover so its's now tarted up awaiting fitment

IMG_0882.jpg

The homebrew exhaust came off and the 'lifted' standard exhaust refitted along with a new handbrake cable. the brake fluid was also renewed , long over due.

Yesterday evening I went rolling my rear arches with my not quite up to the job arch roller. so modifications were made. and the two rear arches proceeded to be rolled and then primered.

Any chance you could get me the part number on these....

Well I got the mad notion one night I want lights in the boot so I set about it.

I cut the door switch from a starlet.

IMG_0896.jpg

The switch

IMG_0895.jpg

Then proceeded to cut up the Skolo

IMG_0894.jpg

and weld in the nut from the starlet

IMG_0898.jpg

I then gave it a dose of filler and sanded it in, must get paint and wire in the lights too.

I also finished sanding the alloys and managed to paint them this evening. I couldnt decide what way to do them so . . .
