What are the specs of the engine if there's only 42bhp?

Good to hear it's going faultlessly.

Are you over on the mainland with your Irish plates?

Not big update, but the car runs! Over the winter I've got a rebuilt AFH in. I had forgotten how much fun this engine is.   Also managed to get my speedline alloys powder coated, t

its a standard AAV spi. still has decent torque.

Hmmmm. I wonder what my AAU puts out then.

Bahahaa

Well after a near enough 600 mile round trip, the Skolo was perfect.

the engine is showing the 108k only have 42 bhp at the wheels after a spin to Aldon.

oh well

time to rebuild the Afh and get the handling sorted.

whats wrong with 42bhp at the wheels? that would suggest the engine is in pretty good shape seing as they only had 55bhp at the fly, so just over 10bhp lost through gearbox

I ran an Aux power from battery, 10 amp fuse, welded the receiving part for the switch into boot panel and ran earth to that, pics a few pages back. yo could always fot a universal switch as long as its earted and switch 'opens' when boot is shut

Game changer

you've got no hope then! at worst you could always get someone to lend you a little bit of money for the week, like mum or something, or plead with the bus driver and explain the predicament and how your polo, no correction - skolo, has eaten your bank balance? ;)

As for the arch roller, thank you i appreciate it. I imagine it'll be a few weeks realistically before I can come over. Will definitely take you up on that offer though because then i can go loooooower!

  • Author

yeah may have to do that, or get the elephant tape and cable ties to the bike.

no worries man, i wouldnt want to be out rolling in this weather.

i can imagine the bus drive just being a nice person to be honesst

yeah hopefully you'll find a way to get to uni buddy. what do you study out of interest?

and no me either, light dusting of snow over here which will very soon turn into a fair amount of ice. great!
