hi peops i bought a 6n and the passenger side electric window comes of the runner wen it gets half way down , anyone no why this happens and how i can rectify it ??

i did a repair on mine,pikey style :-)

Not sure why but I would suggest taking the door card off and looking at the runners to make sure they are ok.

mine has the same problem on my manual windows i have to pull it up and wind it at the same time for it to come up i have seen clips for sale but i dont really know whats going on with it all :S

its a common fault tbh.remove the door card as said as it does help lol,also remove the speaker assembly,then pull back the rubber membrane to get in the door

bring the glass down so the bottom of it is in easy reach in the cut away in the door,and at the bottom of the glass on both sides youll find plastic clips,these clip into window mech which runs up and down the runners.have a look and youll understand how it works

the square lugs on these clips go into the mech and should stay put but the sides break off at the rear,meaning a speed bump or car jacked up can cause the glass to fall down

people have used strong glue to hold them firm,with good results
