Passed my test yesterday and got insured this morning at about half ten and only got in 20 mins ago non stop driving got too love it :)

What the hell you do lol? Go anywhere or just drive locally? I remember driving around my town for like 2 hours and slept like a log after it!

I always get a boner if I drive more than like 2 hours straight on the motorway, no idea why..

Same with airplanes... you sit there for like 4 or 5 hours, then when you land and get ready to leave, straight up.....

I dont think i could drive for 9 hours without either pissing myself or falling asleep tbh.

Doesn't happen on journeys,but if i sat in the canteen too long id get a boner. Then id have to have another half hour waiting for it to go down. You might be leaning a bit too far forward.

Anyway,it used to take me nine hours each way to Aberdeen,did the journey every four days. But random driving is more fun. Whenever i drive I'm happy to go the long way - if i find myself in the wrong lane i just go that way.

I was done in after a few hours of driving when i 1st got insured

legs where aching, arms where aching. I just felt shattered lol.

I did an all nighter in my Mk3 Polo the day I passed..

Got insured at 10am, put a full tank of petrol in, picked up and dropped off probably 20 different people throughout the day, went to every drive-thru in a 15 mile radius, ended up camping in the car on a Sainsburys car park, full 24 hours lol..

I did a few long drives in the 6n back in it's glory days.. drove from basically Birmingham, to Essex, then to Southend-on-sea, then Milton Keynes, then back home.. but that was all motorways and traffic, boring..

Best drive was from mine to Barmouth which is on like the west coast of Wales.. 2 hours of B-roads and mountain roads in the summer, awesome, I'd recommend that drive to anyone.

I thought i was alone with my long Journey boners. I got loads when i was driving back from London, I think it is Bordom

But, yea. Nice one.

I drove till my red light come on, which is still what i do.

I've done that , its epic! I reckon the A44 out of aberystwyth is the best road i've ever driven

I think it has something to do with your brain trying to stop you from falling asleep/ when you are very relaxed

so glad I'm not the only one!

Back a few months ago, I had to wake up at 6am, drive from Chessington to London (Wandsworth), pick a mate up, drive all the way up to Edinburgh, pick up some bits, and drive back down. We left London around 7am, and made it back to London around 10pm I think. Constant driving, minus the four stops we done on the hard shoulder to stretch our legs and piss. Good fun

love all day driving missions, due to family relocation and 80% of the lads i passed at the same time with being mongs i dont get to participate in fun like that any more :(

I'm still partial to the odd scaling of the country though as i do it so often. record from southsea to preston [278 miles] from my house to being stood outside a nightclub is 3 hours and 5 minutes. speed kept creeping up and up and up :p

most I've driven for was 4 hours, Motorways are boring, Untill you see a nice polo overtake you
