i have to get out after 2hrs as although my bucket seats are lovely, they dont do my arse any favours!

Not a nice feeling having your legs go numb from the top downwards :(

drove from milton keynes to penreth in my mini at 1am and got there ar 7am. hard ridged bucket seats. only 1cm of suspension travel. hard shocks, i hurt so bad. lol. loved it.

you wanna feel bumps get in a lowered hard shocked mini. worse then coilys on a polo

^^^ ha ha.

Did lincs to Devon a couple of years ago to see narrow lane & mr announcements.

had a 80mm drop all round and by the time i got there, i couldnt see straight, let alone walk! Bloody M6 with its concrete carriageway!

why does every normal post on cp end up dirty? hahahah

did a 12hr drive to scotland from london a few years back, and a 21hr drive (yup I know) from London to Poland at winter once which I would DEFINATELY not reccomend, have done it since in two stages. Easy to switch to 'autopilot' when on the motorway for a while, though unrestricted autobahns tend to liven things up :-D

I used to be an international driver for a living and the longest journey I did in my Iveco Daily ,up and down from Holland to Sweden in 24 hrs,non stop, lots of Red Bulls involved lol :D ,but on avarage I drove about 1500-2000 miles a week, all over europe :)

drove my Polo to holland and back in febuary

i drove last month fro swindon to skipton in north yorkshire and got stuck in so much trafic i left at 1 and arived at 9 :( that should of only taken 3.5 hours gotta hate the m6 near birmingham grrrrr

Me and my mate did Leeds to Newport and back again in one night, set off at 8pm, got home at 3, 500 miles in 8 hours ain't bad, didn't fall asleep at all, honest :ninja:

And I sympathise with any one that lives in Wolverhampton when the m6 is shut around there, how the fuck do you cope??

Derby to Mongolia in a few weeks last summer..10,000 miles. WINNERRRR

Few all nighters, one through Europe, (was longest, 30 odd hours) one across Azerbaijan, one across Turkmenistan, and one across a chunk of Russia..no real chance to sleep, swap from driver to in the back seat which did not recline and was on the floor. Seats so uncomfortable we all got really sore arses.

It was the seats, it's my story and I'm sticking to it. Was sticking to the seats too once it hit over 50 degrees.

If the lads got boners they did not tell me/I did not notice.

hahahah ^^^ sure we all belive you :ninja:

lmao this is 'The Boner Thread' hilarious!

I have never gotten that before, maybe you guys are sitting funny?

Longest trip: 13 hrs straight (stopped for fuel once, took 5 min and continued).

Marseille back to Amsterdam.

Got home, and then wanted to go for another drive (i have problems)

I always get a boner if I drive more than like 2 hours straight on the motorway, no idea why..

Same with airplanes... you sit there for like 4 or 5 hours, then when you land and get ready to leave, straight up.....

Its nice to no its a normal thing to get a boner when driving for long periods.

I tend to get one every time i start the car :-D haha

longest iv done is 6 hours straight, then almost wet myself, and with a hard on makes it 'very hard' to take a pee.

I went out the day i passed with the coilovers right down

Got in at about 2 in the morning with a what you could call a broken back and a shaken brain from all the driving

and the boner thing :paranoid:
