thank you both for your contributions.

i will renember in the future that this forum is full of "this type" of people and not to say anything to do with enjoying polo's or shows as people will feel the need to show their opinion of how they disagree.

But what i said was a good part of the weekend and the poloshow.

Doesn't mean it was the ONLY thing

There wasnt a bad part of the weekend for me, other than not being able to take my own car.

How is revving the tits of a Polo classed as 'enjoying polo's?'

Just having a laugh to be honest buddy, whole experience was pretty damn good, good people, nice cars, half decent weather and overall a very nice weekend! :-D

Anyone got any pictures of the 6n of doom? Sounds a lot like my mates , doubt it is though.

you've shown your opinion, why can't the people that didn't agree with what had gone on?

if your idea of enjoying a polo is acting like a pissed up chav then fair play, but you have to be aware that not every one will find this fun, and if this behavior is going on around people's cars that the owners do actually care about then you have to expect them to get pissed off about it. i said pretty much the same thing to the lad on the night just like i'm saying it to you now.

if you act like a idiot people will treat you like a idiot.

and hand breaking it around every one's car's and tents :?

I actually moved my tent, as I did not want some drunk, hand breaking fool to kill me in the night.

It certainly wasn't like this last year.

End of the day, just because you're off the road as such, it doesn't make you invincible... I wonder what would have happened if the red 6n goons slid into the show and shine cars this morning on their way out?

a second topic dead.

when i said revving engines i didn't mean him rev limiting his 6n as i wasn't even in the tent when he was doing that.

and tbh what is there to have an opinion on? i'd had a drink while listening to some tunes with polo's around me and a nice lupo to look at.

what is there to comment on?

A rather hefty kicking, probably from everyone - as they pissed just about everyone off

It was a real shame that some people had to spoil it for everyone else, non of us admin wanted to have to go telling people off or have security on our case saying they had spoken to people but been ignored so could we go and sort it out!, honestly they should know better. I really don't see what the problem was with just parking your car up, getting out of it, and socialising?

we felt really sorry for the group in the marquee who were acting really maturely, with music on low in the car and sitting around the table chatting, the people in there that were acting like dickheads spoilt it for the ones that just wanted to sit and have a laugh.

we all want everyone to have a good time but we don't need the attitude and hassle from the odd few that act like cocks.

True. I had my work boots on all weekend so was ready ;)

Spot on.

I certainly know what I would have done if it had come next to my car :)

He even let his Mrs have a spin around the show, I'm like she cant even change gear ffs.

I doubt he would have been able to pay the damage if he pilled into something, when he cannot even find a 6n 1.4 manifold...

well we know who the trouble makers were and they won't be welcomed back, I got to the stage Saturday night when i just thought to hell with it next year we won't bother or we will make it members only and anyone that causes trouble will get an instant ban from the club and be kicked off site.

i think its a real shame, and we don't want to have to be so heavy handed. but coming on this forum i can see that the vast majority of people really enjoyed themselves, so thanks everyone you have restored my faith!

Yes Epic weekend, you will be reciving my membership payment very soon!

Is the List of attendies ready to be put up?

I did tell you at one point i vaguely remember Liz that it could all be sorted out rather quick! (but then i got well out of it and lost motivation! )

Was a good weekend, though only made it for the saturday night/sunday. Would have loved to be in my Polo, but made it in the barge (veccy estate) which proved it's worth by towing a poorly g40 into the show. There were some good times, and then some bad times usually caused by pissed up idiots thinking it was ok to sound like an icecream van and keep tannoying everyone at stupid o'clock. If the self policing of the show continues I'll happily walk round with a big stick/dog ejecting the morons from the site.

thanks, in fact thats a really good idea, we could recruit an extra team of show staff next year if a few people are willing to step forwards to help us out it would be much appreciated :-)

sorry tho we don't have any club polo sticks or dogs to hand out lol.

who needs a stick? theres plenty of stuff handy in toolboxes ;)
