hi all, i am selling my g40 project car which was originally a cl,

the conversion was carried out a few months ago by g-werks, not by me on the driveway!

the car is tornado red and has 9 months tax and mot, 102,000 on the clocks.

there are a few problems with the car, the body work is not amazing - the usual car park dents on the doors, there are surface rust patches

on the edges of both front wings and one has a patch random primer on it, there is a small patch of rust in one corner of the windscreen,

it has however just had a new battery tray welded in so thats fine!

the other problems are the fan needs replacing as its only cutting in at the second speed,

also i suspect the fuel pump may be on its way out as it was making some strange noises the last time i drove the car.

i have been completley honest with the faults of this car, as I'm not a crook!

now for the good points:

g40 engine

new water pump and cambelt

atv gearbox, just had new oil

full blend supercharger, serviced by jabba 1000 miles ago

65mm pulley

250cc injectors

sns chip to run pulley and injectors

new lambda probe

new knock sensor

new co pot

new coil pack

new spark plugs

stainless steel powerflow exhaust

stainless steel 4 branch manifold

forge front mount intercooler

custom made aliminum boost pipes with red silicone joiners, made by g-werks

ppp stage 2 subframe

spax suspension, 40mm drop all round

g-ladersite anti roll bar blocks

g-ladersite polythene bushes all round

g40 brakes with black diamond grooved and drilled disks

goodridge hoses all round

g40 clocks fitted

all these parts have been fitted in the last few months by a competent mechanic.

the car will come with g40 front and rear seats, g40 steering wheel, untouched black parcel shelf

only the front seats are fitted atm.

the car is rolling on some unbranded 14" alloys with good tyres, but will come with a set of 5 14" bbs ra's

without tyres.

it will also come with a full set of g40 arch and sill trims

i have spent thousands on the car, it just needs a bit more effort to finish it, my reason for selling is i need a sensible daily driver for work.

i am asking for £1500 which is less than the cost of the parts to build it!
