hi lads, been stickering the quad up, not to bad i dont think some look alright, also having problems with engine idiling and shit running in low revs, so this weekend we will sort that out anyway some pics:-

bigger sprocket for better accelaration

whoops it is for top end, mistake there dude! but its the same size as the r6 sprocket on the bike, so will help with accelarating aswell as the chain kept slipping on the smaller one due to alot less teeth, dont worry buddy it will be gettin super cleaned once all finished, hopefully its going into a quad magazine for a feature

less rear teeth means more top end..unless its different with a gearbox...on karts we take teeth off the rear for less revs/top speed and add for wet/revs/accel, taking them off the front improves accel and bigger on front reduces.

Aye this is right. Bigger sprocket = better acceleration like you said, smaller sprocket obviously less accel, more top end. <-- This is on the axle btw (like in the pic), bigger sprocket on the gearbox would be more top end and vise versa!

Looks like a nice project dude a lot of good work gone in I like it!

Its all about ratio's with sprockets.

But yeah, if you've stuck a sprocket on which has more teeth, accelleration/torque to the rear wheels will improve. The lesser teeth, the bigger "top speed" you will acheive as the axel does more rotations per revolution of the gearbox sprocket.

hi lads, well i snapped a sprak plug in the head , so off that came, and noticed our running poor was due to the timing chain being one tooth out, I'm not sure how this happened, but anyhoo its done all sorted riding on the road and my god it delivers the power so much different now the chain rolls prperly , ill put some videos up soon but the ones i have are to naughty for internet so bear with me,
