Hi all. That would be my fiesta. I only came because i was invited by a friend. I wasn't planning on bringing it but he said it'd be fine. I'm glad i wasn't laughed at too much :)

As for the positive camber at the back, that picture isn't very flattering as it looks like there is loads of positive camber at the back, but in truth its not that bad and the coilovers were fairly high up. Front has a fair bit of negative camber which i've been told is acceptable in the vw world :)

I'm a new fan of the polo after seeing some stunning cars around the show.

Fondly familiar,that biscuit tin. We had one in the family from new,which was destroyed in a crash with just 23k miles on.

I had a 1.4L, 1.4 S, and two XR2s. Various friends had them too,immensely popular car twenty years ago.

They're crap. They rot badly,were poorly built,made a deafening racket and the steering columns were unacceptably pissed,with the driver having to sit at an angle. No wonder one of the once most comon cars is so rare now.

But they were fun!

haha yep the steering wheel is deffinatly off centre. and they did rot, but there are still a few good ones about.
