Aye, why would you convert a mk2 to an SDI? :?

A mk2 1.0 or 1.3 would do 50+mpg anyway, so why put a diesel in?

Seems odd but for £150 whats the worst that could happen

Doctor pepper.whats the worst that can happen

Yeah, bit strange it being a SDI. Deffo needs a viewing just to see if it is or not but theres defianately more than £150 worth of parts there + weighing in the shell.

Breaking an arm is a poor excuse to sell a car imo (unless they're a giro junkie)

The worst that can happen is that you actually drink the stuff! :puke:

probably because no matter how you drive the SDI you'd still get 50+mpg out of it, and the only way a normal person could get 50+mpg out of a 1 liter polo is on the back of a flat bed

mine won't be helped by it's 4 speed box or its (newly acquired) blowing exhaust, but on the way back from the polo show i could pretty much see my fuel gauge dropping when we were on the motor way, and that was just while keeping up with the flow of traffic
