Pete's polo build thread (mk3)

Featured Replies

So after buying another new polo back in may off of breadvandan i thought it was about time i posted up some of the progress.

The plan is to stick in my 1.4 gt engine in, tidy up the bodywork and do a rear disc convertion along with other bits and pieces.

so this is her as i bought her:

i then tested the new wheels for size which i bought the weekend before i bought the car :p

Since may i have done a g40 front brake upgrade and braided pipes, gt bumpers, flat wipers, fitted lowered front shocks with new strut tops as the standard shocks were bottoming out making the ride well hard. Also a few stickers and given her a fecking good clean and polish.

Not a lover of the wheels but it's tidy!

very clean, would look better with 8s on the back

real nice colour, stick some spacers on the back wheels to get the sitting flush with the fronts and you'd be on to a winner
