1998 'R' Seat Ibiza TDi 90

Featured Replies

Hey,

I'm selling my daily driver as my missus has a 1.4 TDi PD Polo so no need for 2 diesels anymore! Here's the spec:

Make: Seat

Model: Ibiza 1.9 TDi Salsa

Year/Reg: 1998 'R'

Mileage: 145k

MOT: May 2011

Tax: January 2011

Good points: This has been my daily for a few months now. Since owning it I have replaced the front discs and pads, the rear brake shoes, rear wheel bearings and rear axle bushes (quite a big job!). It's had new rear flexi hoses and several sections of rear brake pipe too. I've repaired a leaky exhaust, fixed the central locking and general given it a good tidy up. Its got four almost new Continental PremiumContact2 tyres, mounted on 15x6" multispoke alloys. Everything on the car works and it comes with a set of 16cm Alpine speakers in the doorcards. I'm currently averaging 57mpg but it'll easily break 60mpg on long run! It's MOT'd until May next year so would make an ideal winter runaround! I'll be adding more pictures at the weekend (the L-plate has now gone!).

Bad points: It's not perfect cosmetically, it has several dents, scratches and a small amount of rust around the N/S rear wheel arch and damage to the drivers bolster. However it makes an ideal daily where you're not bothered where you leave it!
