If I buy 6 months tax, use it for a day, then go to get it refunded, will I loose the first months worth of money? Will I be able to refund it at all? Only need tax for a day but dont fancy forking out £65 for it!

they will charge you for a month

You will lose the first month.

They always only refund a full month, doesn't matter if your 30 days in or 1 day, you'll lose the month.

why do you only need it for a day?

tbh, if I'm only loosing a tenner I'd rather have it than not. Rather pay a tenner instead of paying £200 for not showing valid tax.

You'll lose a month. And then you'll lose 15%? admin fee on your refund.
