Mk2 Breadvan (Black)

Featured Replies

This is my 1987 Mk2 1.3 cl polo.

Got this given to me off my step dads grandad who was giving up driving, it's my first car, wasn't even into VW's till I got this!

So far I haven't done much apart from bits that needed doing, new fuel tank, new radiator, new exhaust, various bits of piping that had gone ect

Got my hands on a good bonnet and both front arches as mine were rusted to fuck. Want to continue with the rest of the body work for now cos it's got plenty of bumps. Maybe a respray in satin black?

Got plenty of plans and hopefully get some stuff done now I've got some cash money coming in. Had planned on dropping it 80mm but insurance company won't let me so gonna have to wait till march.

Any opinions and advice is welcome with this being my first project.

slam it to the floor!

why wnt insurance let you?

looking good

Said they won't insure me if I do any mods before I'm 25! :-( Got the springs already too, was thinking of dong it and just not declaring tbh but not sure, otherwise it's waiting until march to change insurers. Got plenty other work I can get on with in the mean time like haha.

Cheers mate!

oh goddd black looks good, soo shiny!!!

Cheers mate, keep thinking of going satin black once all the body works done (very soon) because I could do that myself but they seem to be well common tbh.
