basically I'm 18 years old, i currently drive a fiat seicento sporting 1.1 and it costs me tpft £1700, would a 1980s polo (or caddy) 1.6 or similar be cheaper or more expensive? I'm not expecting people to have had a fiat seicento before just wondered what other 18 year olds are paying,

Insurance fronting?

there's no such thing as an '80s 1.6 polo, 1.3 is the biggest engine. As with anything insurance related, literally the ONLY way you'll find out for sure is to ring your insurance company up and ask them. You can also try getting quotes on confused.com or similar but it still might be totally different to what your own insurance co say.
