went to ford fair at silverstone on sunday and came across this, i think people were wondering why i was looking at this and not the concourse mexico parked in front of it, but i was just pleased to see someone rocking a polo after being surrounded by blue ovals all day, anybodys on here just out of interest??

some of the fords there were unbelievable, I'm a VAG/VW man at heart but you cant beat a cosworth of any variety, and some of the mk1 and mk2 escorts were absolutley stunning! i wanted a seat leon cupra r but I'm leaning towards a mk1 focus rs at the moment hmmmmm decisions..... anybody claiming this polo, would love to know how the hell you got it into the show itself??

Yeah i saw that too, there were a few random cars round that part! anyone know what the tuning potentials like for the focus rs?? because i know the 1.8T in the leon cupra r has a LOT of aftermarket tuning potential

Think alot of people are opting for the 2.5 ST Focus over the RS as parts are more common and cars are much cheaper and abit more economical, after a mountune kit it will beat a stock RS

i went to ford fair too and saw said polo and all the other non fords which pissed me off a little as the show is called FORD FAIR not ford fair and others but ah well some nice fords on display but this year i have to say the trade stands were shit imo

If only you are 1.4 had valves.....oh hang on it did have valves, 8 of them actually bless it, good job i replaced it with a 16v and have now decided i should grow up a bit and trade the polo for a real car

yeah thats what my mate decided to do, he was looking at an rs and then went for the st instead, hes just remapped it for £400 and its now running 270bhp so would wipe the floor with an rs, still prefer the look and the rarity of the rs though

Well yea it wipes the floor of any VW performance really beside the R32 which is 241bhp, and alot more expensive then a much newer ST.

And the R36 passat at 300bhp but thats more like 20k price

i think the Vayron card will be pulled out soon.
