No, theres no usb port but it does have a aux port.

There are alot of wires on the back, sorry I dont know too much about wiring.

Does it tell you the name of the song when you play you're iPod through it? FYI i'm quite interested

No it doesn't but you can also play mp3 CD's which hold like 60 songs or something.
