this is the only pic i have right now shes looking a little sorry for herself lol

by the looks of those pics your going to need something around the 17" size aswell

think i would go for something around 16"x7.5j with a bit of a 90s feel to them. think tsw imolas for example. should be cheap enough to find and would probably fit in well with the current styling of the car

the previous owner had 17's on it but i dont want 17's too big imo. 15 or 16 would be perfect.

what are tsw imolas?

In fairness though those arches are huge!!!!

I mean look at the van behind it, the arches are bigger on that. i wouldnt go as low as 15's as the wheel is just going to look lost!!!

until i get it home i wont no for certain just how big the arches are. polos with 17s look ridiculous. dont want this looking the same as its going to be slammed.

god you must be young! imolas were a classic british touring car wheel from back in the mid 90s, they would suite the car really well imo

I'm 20 lol and i googled them *rollseyes* lol

I dont know if they would suit them tbh. This is my 4th polo now and I've always gone with deep dish small wheels. dont want this looking like its on massive wheels. I'm taking a chance with this car being wide arched, it wasnt my first choice but for what i paid and what came worth it i couldnt say no. just duno how to "pull it off"

16 inch is smallest id go on that. What sort of lowerage has it got?

Something multispokey would suit it, tsw pace, pro race 1.2 or 2 I can't remeber which is which lol, or maybe even some compomotive MO

i cant see small deep dish wheels looking right tbh, especially with the deep bumpers that its got from looking at the pics.

borbet a's, azav a's or speedline alessio's could also work well, but none of those are what i would call cheap wheels

its on lowering springs at the mo, but ill be putting my coilys on it and dropping it as much as possible

its not only the size I'm concerned about, but the width aswell... what ever i put in there, unless they are stupidly wide they're guna get lost. thats why i asked if there are any wheels off another car, a little wider than norm, that i could get hold off and put on her. *sigh.

I have 16x9 Borbet A's on the back of mine and 7.5's on the front

my arches would swallow them :( they look lush tho!

my arches are actually MASSIVE compared to standard 6n ones. Notice how there's no swage line along them any more, I'll try and find a better pic

my arches vs my mates standard arches...

so you're looking at 10j wheels for the back really.

You can get 17x10j borbet A's :)

Also look into Azev A and Brock B1. as they're available in that size and 16x10 too iirc.

if i put spacers on it, what options do i have then? as i cant afford mega bucks for new wheels for a while :( i need somthing pretty cheap that i can pull off for a while until i can get enough money to get something decent.

That looks sick 8-) you should deffo go for some 90s wheels to keep in theme of the cars style

Id get 16" TSW Evo Rs if it was mine, and then space them out accordingly 8-)

I think the widest evo r in 16" is only 7.5 :?

thought id ask this qs what sort of budget have you got for the wheels and dont forget with the depth of the bumpers you wont be able to go to small or you,ll be draggin up tarmac

You should probably look for some wheels at least 8" wide with a low offset, perhaps approaching being negative, and even consider spacing them out. Those arches are mental huge.
