Hey Guys, after properly planning Edition 38, i've realised how excited i actually am and derived from that how much i love cars in general.

Right now i live for my girlfriend, cars and just good times (Which consist of girlfriend/cars).

I've been able to drive since october last year and i still actually enjoy driving, even if it is a farce at some points.

Like, i love the whole volkswagen scene, seeing dubs, loving it, then getting a little wave or a flash <3

just thought i'd share my feelings about this, Feel free to share yours.

Look forward to hopefully meeting some more fellow CP'ers at Edition.

I used to, but lately my enthusiasm has started to die and fizzle out hopefully it will return one day

i've had a few friends that like, started driving and was like soooo enthusiastic, but then lost it after a few months. It's a good lifestyle imo. Love the community.

To be fair i adore my car and i love driving it just as much!

(But of course ... the MR comes first.. so he comes with me for my mini ventures! win win!)

I dont live for cars. I do however go to work for cars

The only thing that keeps me going to work is the car. I literally spend about 60% of my wages on it every month haha.

This thread makes me sick for some reason.

2 cars, all money goes on cars, car design course at Uni, trackday car build with my dad.

i live to drive i love my car i love driving I've been driving nearly five years and i dont think I've ever once said to myself i cant be arsed driving if theres a reason for not getting in the car its because you dont want to get out once you have reached your destination because you know its not going to be anywhere near as fun as the drive there I've had some pretty hairy moments along the way but who hasnt its all part of driving there are muppets on the roads who drive to fast and cut people up but i dont let them bother me i know where all the national speed limit roads are around here and thats where i go for fun when i can really let loose and put aformentioned muppets to shame as they cant get there bmws round corners nearly as quick as me in the polo so yeah i guess i do live for cars petrol runs through my vains and i think it runs through everyone elses who considers themselves a true car enthusiast

Id really question that depending on the BMW

ah you see bmw drivers not all but alot are too scared to put there pride and joy through corners very fast so thats where the polo can excel as its very easy to corner fast

But I'd like to say I don't live for my car. Then, I realise after paying bills etc, all my money either goes on drink or my car. So I live for drink, and driving. Nice combination there.

that's like me, looking at some car's in a field doesn't really interest me, it's the whole social side of it that i love (meeting new people, getting drunk with new people, calling new people gays), plus all the rushing around trying to get the car ready in time kinda gives me a challenge and a goal that takes my mind away from the shitness of life in Britain these days

i wouldn't say i live for car's, but they do give me a much needed distraction from reality

My other half doesnt really get cars nor cars for them... BUT she loves to come on cruises or days out, i duno weather she does it for the sake of doing it or just does it to spend the day with me.

My love for my polo has tumbled as well as the whole Scene thing, used to love stonar park and club polo shows but i just see the same shit every year so i dont bother now unless I'm going with a group of mates to have a laugh. Though I'm sure it will all change soon as i get my G40 and mod it how i want it!!!!!

Same with my partner, she likes our car but hasn't washed it in the year we've had it. All my neighbours call me a enthusiast, only because i clean the car 2x a week, sometimes more. A habit i've got just love the result at the end. Shows i don't go to anymore..getting old and that haha

I love the shows but it doesn't feel the same in a "non-scene" car. eg. edition 38 in my slammed mk2 golf was awesome, people spoke to you and gave you a nod or whatever. but last time went in a standard 6n and no-one would even look at me, and could see people just didn't have time for me because my car was boring and not worth talking about. I still love the cars but in reality the scene really just isn't for me. And since i met the mrs, there are just more important things in my life than the car, and for the first time ever I own a standard un-modified car and nothing is breaking or needs replacing... its awesome!

but i still want another mk2 to slam it into the ground :)

Some not all BMW drivers yeah maybe, depends who can handle it eh. I'm certainly not afraid to show a polo hatchback some twisties and then leave it crying with an engine twice the size Plus BMW didnt spend millions on ///M Tech suspension for a polo to out handle it

My car lives for me, not vice versa.

I live for far bigger causes, the car is one of my tools for said living. But as a tool of mine its customised for me, and is such an enjoyable tool to use that it acts effectively as a toy whilst it does its job. Being so effective at its work, it gets reasonably affordable effort put into it in all my chosen aspects of maintenance.

i never really was into cars til I was 20, didnt even consider driving til then, i've had a handful of slowish cars, a fiesta and an ibiza to name a few. When ?I got my mk3 golf I was blown away by the potential for making it my own, and it was sweet. then i had a 1.0 6n2 anfd was dissapointed,

Now I have my valver I love it, That sound when its hitting 3500rpm, and dropping a gear to overtake someone makes me cream, I know its not that fast but it's just so much fun to drive!

And the styling potential is great, I think I've gone from 170 to 200 ebay feedback since I bought it last month, and the car is beginning to reflect my tastes.

Yesterday I changed a wing all by myself, it took fookin ages! I got so dirty I had to wash my hands 5 times and even after a shower tyhis morning I still have shite under my nails!

But you know what, it was one of the most fun and satisfying afternoons of my life!

Big up the car, the man's Tampon! when its that time of the month I can always trust my polo to give me comfort!

And when I put me foot down it feels like it should have wings lol
