thanx,it sits lower now, that was just after fitting the coilovers, the rear cant go any lower or it will mash the wheels let alone the tyres  but as i say it has sat down abit from that pic.and the front will be going down mid week 8-)

Did you miscalculate the offset on your wheels?

pulled arches and a bit lower i think

to much poke.

wheels YES just not sat like that I'm afraid....

just my input..

This will work sweet with a few little tweaks upfront.. camber.. smaller adapters.. or both if poss. Will pull it all together for sure, just looks too front heavy right now imo.

Awesome wheels though

camber done and adapters cant get any smaller i had them custom made the 15mm 4x100-5x120 try geting hold of a set of them!

Ahh, feared they would already be 15's... fair play.

i'd be tempted by some subtle arch flaring, just to house them a little better..

other than that, keep it up! they look tight in white.

I appreciate what you have done but the camber let's it down for me abot 11 post down on here http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?...209136&st=0 he's fit the wheels under the pulled and flared arches which gives the car more of a driveable apperance etc just my 2p!

fair comment mate,i dont mind if poeple arnt sure,or if they do or dont like it but all feed back is welcome :-) i love the car and it looks so much better in the flesh.the cars a budget build and is my run around car as my ventos not finished yet so the arches were rolled and shims fitted to keep cost down, the cars been done over 3-4 weeks all in all, thats a full paint job rolled arches shims fitted, the wheels+refurb custom adaptors, new tyres all round new seats, steering wheel new coilovers and a set of 16v bumpers at the paint shop mot and new door cards and trim fitted so its got room to be tweeked! ;)

i can understand people saying go lower I'm a big lover of lows as my ventos on its spuds but come on if you look at simons rear in the link above it the same if not higher than mine and yes the fronts lower so ill give you that but give it time people :-D

i agree with you dude, they're near enough the same. his looks lower because he's got 16v bumpers. thats the problem with 8v bumpers, you have to go stupid low to pull off such a big wheel. i think once you have the 16v bumpers on it'll help.

keep it up dude, I'm liking it 8-)
