i keep seeing 165/50/15 , are these better ????

will this result in me raising my ride height as it is on coilovers to allow full lock e.t.c. ? due to having the 195 tyre

also i will be wanting the stretched look as much as possible on the 6j rim

if you want stretch you'll need wider rims! 165/50 might give a slight stretch depending on the make. think i would rather run 195/45s though

A 6j rim is 150mm wide, so 165 tyres wont give stretch on it! Loads of people run 195/45 15 with lows, so it shouldnt be a problem unless you're down 120mm ! I just hate driving around on uber skinny tyres

depends on the make. one of my friends has a silver squareback with a set of teardrops on it. 6j wide. the rear tyres are federal 165/55s and like you say dont have any stretch. his front tyres are bridgstone 165/55s yet oddly have a bit of stretch to them

I think its the rim protector that gives the illusion of stretch, my toyo 195/45s look more stretched on my 8j wheels than my kumho 175/50s beleive it or not. The proxes have rim protector, the kumhos don't, and I'd imagine potenzas have rim protector, whereas I know federals don't as I ran federal 165/50s last year... Still, 6j attempted stretch fails, hard.
