Ino winter or autumn isn't here, but i would hardly call it summer with all the rain and windiness

haven't had a chance to get tyres for my BBS yet so I'm always running steels

set of valver wheels on my 6n2.

Well speak for yourself, cause it aint been windy or raining too often up our way!!!!

And shut up you nut!!!!! Winter wheels are perfectly acceptable.

I will hopefully soon be running not some crazily expensive hoops, but more than £500 they would have set me back in the long run, and i certainly will be taking them off for winter. Not letting the constant rain, grit and salt corrode my beautiful polished dish!!!!!! SO hush do with you "especially if there sub 1k worth of wheels"

I think my winter mode will consist of me putting my warm air pipe back on. Weather has been pretty good lately though, at least in the day time, I wouldnt be too worried about changing wheels unless they have winter tyres too.

Most normal people cant afford to ruin sub £1000 wheels.

Exactly. If they're only used in the winter, then at least wrap them in decent cold weather rubber.

People properly obsess about winter wheels and this "winter mode" stuff on here. If it's just to protect your show wheels, stuff a set of steelies on and forget about it.

I don't understand paying for a decent set of wheels (like getting a set of steelies banded) for the winter. Surely it'd just be cheaper to get your summer wheels refurbished when the show season starts again?

Why are you thinking of winter already? :?

My car is nothing special so no other change, but i might get a new set of wheels if some come up cheap with decent tyres in the wet. Since mine ain't really suited to rain once it gets heavy.

As winter is almost here

eh?

thats like saying its almost summer in mid january

Looks like I'm a pussy then

Money doesnt have a great deal to do with it does it really?

If id spent hours n hours polishing my £50 set of wheels i wouldn't wanna let them get fucked after all the hard work. And i also wouldn't wanna have to clean them every other day.

hope your all taking your lenso's off..:lol:

carnt beat a well spaced set of standard g60 steels wrapped in bordgestone potenza re040 165.55 tyres.

I've ran my bbs through the winter once with out a spec of damage or corsion !!! hahaha radinox dishes ftw

I'm gonna be getting a whole new car for the winter, that's how scene I am!

i thought it was winter all year round?
