Firstly, I'm after the PoloG40 tailgate badge,

Also, the small supercharged badge which is just below it.

Now to be picky! I only want very clean badges, original style/colour, etc. However, I don't mind if the clips are broken as the badge/s will probably be stuck on anyway to keep the scrotes away!

I'm trying to get the car back standard'ish again and some idiot before me has cut the polo bit off the G40 badge and completely removed the supercharged badge!

Finally! While I'm here, is the VW badge on the grill always silver or do they vary at all? My G40 is on a 'K' plate and it's a black one. The VW badge on the grill is also black, is this standard? The catalyst badge on the tailgate is also black on mine?! If someone could tell me if this is standard it would be much appreciated!

mine are all black with the exception of the g40 bits which are red. also the supercharged badge isnt found on every g40. from memory they were added by the vw dealers to some cars, but not others.

I see, as an optional extra do you think or just certain years perhaps? also, do you know what ones if any had the tinted lenses on the indicators?

last of the line ones were fitted with the tinted lenses and clear indicators. couldnt tell you from which year on as I'm not enough of a geek! afaik the supercharged badge was a dealer option rather than being fitted from a certain year onwards. i could be completely wrong though!

You can get the supersharged script from a company called Trimsport, get onto google...

my GT came with black VW badges, H reg. Also, pretty sure the G40's came without the catalyst badge so it could have been added or replacement bootlid fitted?

I'm pretty sure the G40s had black front grille badges as standard, I know that the GTs did

The catalyst badge on mine (not a G40 though! its only a mere Genesis ) is black but I tihnk thats because the silver paint has rubbed off!

Hmm gonna have to find out more about this catalyst badge then! She's hpi clear and looks straight so hopefully someones stuck it on there's no holes under the badge so hopefully this is the case...

right - as far as i know it this is the case.

Polo_G40 badge with the silver 'polo' and red 'g40'

supercharged badges were dealer fit and uk only - some were fitted, some not.

Every stock g i've had has had the 'catalyst' on the opposite side and new these are also silver. But i've yet to see a new looking one!

The Polo_g40 badge fixes into clips.. the other two are stuck on.
