Brentacre Good?Not?

Featured Replies

Turning 20 next month and thought would give them a call as they only take 20 year olds without NCB and they quoted me £2089 TPFT. Very chuffed tbh as they will cover all my mods and no charge for adding more on. Everyone else is well above as - 16v + mods + rough area=stupid quotes

But just wanted to ask, as alot of people rate them and have been with them, you lot got any tips on bringing the quote down more? And how's their service?

Thanks

I've had all my cars with them for years and have never been anything but very happy with them. They are always good to deal with on the phone and always cheapest for me. Although I have never made a claim through them which is the true test of an insurance company so can't comment on that, they are an insurance broker though so the actual insurance will be underwritten by someone else so making a claim will depend on them really.

I agree,

Brentacre is the best company I have used. Always very pleasent to speak to on the phone, very organised with paperwork and postage times and always the best quotation I have recieved.

I always have a policy where I can do whatever engine mods I like, up to a certain BHP, any other modifictaion (brakes, wheels, suspension etc) is classed as cosmetic and costs nothing to add (even when a policy is in progress).

I nearly claimed once (due to a break in with the car which would have costed £1000 + to repair myself).. They were very helpful and explined the entire process with me and also told me how much it would affect the policy next year. I decided not to claim in the end (broke the car and got my money back).

But I highly reccomend this company. I usually shop around phoning stupid amounts of companies to get the best deal. But ini the past few years I just stuck with brentacre without the need of shopping around becuase I am so happy with thier service and prices.

Oh, and my insurance has always ended up with highways through brentacre.
