6n2 seats.

Featured Replies

right got a polo 6n2. Love the car but wanting something more sporty with the seats. What seats can go straight in to the existing frame? I was thinking about valver seats but i dont know if they will look a bit silly!

thanks again.

Well I think they would go straight in but would look daft because of their 90s jazz patterns.

ah thats what i was thinking, why o why didnt they just make them grey or black.

MK3 Golf - The best choice by far, quite a few options. VR6 heated leather can be found cheap. Colour concept Recaro's are a bit more sporty but a tad more expensive as they are rarer.

MK4 Polo - Only option is valver seats which would not look right in a MK5. Not sure if they did colour concepts for the MK4.

MK5 Polo - GTI seats, GTI leather seats or colour concept seats.

Seat Ibiza (not sure which MK)

Also, there is a guy who says in another thread that he put mk4 golf seats straight into a 6n2.

Sub frames are completely different.. Have to make your own subframes for the mk4 golf's..

It was me that was wrong - misread the post! I blame it on the 3 week old baby and the sleepless nights!

Heres a question - how annoyed will I get if I fit 5 door seats to a 3 door? Will there be enough room for passengers to squeeze in? I dont regularly have anyone else in the car with me. Should I just be patient and wait for the right set of seats to come along?

It wont pass an MOT like that, you may as well do away with the back seats if thats your plan

Yeah I was wondering about MOT. Problem solved - thanks!

They do fit! You just need to get your own subframes made up. I'm sure you can find someone with a welder and an hour of their time. ;) Call in a favour or too, the MK4 seats look fresh!

think someone should make a list and make it sticky so people don't get confused lol

See Indy's post in this thread, or find one of the other 87478383 threads this has been covered in for such list ;)
