I'm thinking about breaking my car if it does not sell but i am unsure what to do once i have broken it and sold on most of the parts what do i then do about the chassis because the car would still be registerd in my name what do i do ??

Send the V5 off, ticking the scrapped box, and get someone to uplift it.

when you scrap the shell phone up local scrap merchants rather than dealers, the dealers tend to be local pikeys in flat beds whereas the merchants tend to have big yards and will often pick up for free but pay you for the trouble.

i break a lot of cars and all of my shells goto a local yard, I've just done a moneo and got 145 for the shell but that is full price whereas a normal dealer will only give you a few quid as they still need to make money, so make sure you do a it of research about who has it before you get rid, every few quid helps!
