Looking to tone my car down a bit and going for the OEM+ look. Therefore want to replace my FK debagded honeycomb grill with a standard GTI honeycomb grill (which has the VW logo) which I've just bought

Bought the debadged grill for £60 about 2 years ago, looks nice but as i say I'm after a new look for the car.

Looking to sell for £30 (postage is £5 extra). Note it also come with a small filler to cover the gap which is left behind when original grill is removed.

Based in NW2 london, anything other than paypal preferred as it means i avoid outrageous fees

obviously the glossy finish on it has faded but it actually looks better like that as it matches the matt finish on the rest of the grills.

Or if u want glossy, a bit of back to black stuff from halfrauds and your done.

Payment via paypal is fine if u pay as a gift and accept the charges yourself. In this case it would be £35 + fee (approx few quid) - No more than £40

Paypal will work out at about £38 if u pay as a gift or Bank transfer at £35.

Before any money is sent I'll just clear this up as there is obviously some confusion here.

There is no PayPal fee if money is sent as a gift. So if sent as a gift it would just be £35.00 and you will receive 100% of it.

There is only a fee if money is sent as purchase of goods or services

Personally, I would send money as a regular purchase of goods for £38.00 and that way you are covered by PayPal's buyer protection.

I recently sent a payment for a set of £300 wheels to a dude as a gift payment. Fees had to be paid regardless, however sending as a gift meant a heavily reduced fee.

When i paid him, i was given the option by paypal to either pay for the fees myself or have the fees deducted from the payment so the reciever looses a few quid.

Overall on a £300 gift payment i paid about approx £8 extra fees (either that or it would have been deducted from him). It may be due to the fact i have a premier paypal account and others have a basic paypal account, or could be due to the sheer value of the gift payment

Well either way, i want £35 in my hand, whatever the method, as indy suggested, paypal is usually the safest bet for payments.
