Hi iv searched site and google etc adn cant find anywhere!?

I have a 6n 16v polo and i need to remove front bumper but i am in need of help as to where abouts all clips bolts are etc,!

all i can see is a few star bolts but anybody any guides? or pics to help me see where to start on removing it!

mine were held in by 2 stardrives on the front under the grill suround and 1 in each arch at the verry to and hey presto its off

first things first the grille and grille rail need to come off to get the bumper off.

in order to do this you need to remove the indicators one screw and slide forwards.

from there you will locate the 2 bolts holding the grill rail in place....the grill itself is clipped in too and this will need to be whipped out also.

then the grilles lower down on the bumper have 4 star key screws in there too from memory and dont forget in each wheel arch there is also some more screws.

if you are logical as you go you will be able to do it no bother, its the ones behind the lower grilles people seem to not see.

also you will wind the bumper can be a snug fit around the reinforcer bar underneath, so dont be afraid to pull (once all the screws are out)

Gonna be doin this the weekend, need to get th foglights out and cant see a solution to this unless bumper comes off so cheers lads much appreciated!

to remove the fogs you need to just remove the outer grills they have 2 screws at top of fog and one at the bottom

no need to remove the bumper!!
