hi, quite far through the prodject now, getting to the main job, the roof. the only thing i could think of is eather bodge and fiberglass or remove the sunroof and just plate the full thing over, top and bottom?

any ideas?

Weld it up?

would suggest ripping out the roof lining plating it up from the back and skimming it!

you need to be careful when welding some thing like the roof because it will distort it.

the first job you will need to do is get rid off all the rust and take it back to good metal and looking at that the hole will get a lot bigger. is that a sunroof on the left hand side? because it looks like that will need removing and all along the edge will need repairing because it looks shot.

what car is this on btw? the only car roof i've seen worse than that was on a 30 year old mini
