any one know if 6n coilovers of my 99 plate will fit my 01 plate 6n2 ???

No, just buy 6n2 coilovers, not exactly expensive lol - And you get a bit of reassurance they'll stay in one piece. If you look at them both you'll see the pretty clear difference in appearance of spring and top mount used on each
