Been meaning to get a topic up of my car for ages. But seeing as I'm thinking of selling it soon, thought I'd show you before it goes.

Model: 2000 6n2

Engine: 1.0 8v 50bhp

Suspesion: 40mm Springs.

Brakes: Standard, new pads and shoes all round though

Wheels: 15" Wolfrace (not sure on the model) With Ceat tyres.

Exterior: GTI grill and splitter. Painted badge. Colour coded bump strips and smoothed boot lid.

Interior: Standard

Ice: Black Box 3 Amp, Pioneer headunit, In-Phase speakers all over.

When I got it, had a debadged grill, smoothed boot lid and was lowered 40mm.

Oh, and 4 badly curbed alloys, and some badly painted bump strips.

Since then, not done a huge amount. In-Phase speakers and tweaters in the doors, and 6x9's in a stealth shelf. Bought a used Pioneer headunit, and some amazing sound quality. Speakers really out performed my expectations. THen Decided to dump a Mission passive sub in there too. Got some really nice bass.

I went and gave the back lights a bit of tint too, as the standard ones always looked too pink to me.

Then one day decide to refurb the alloys. Orange lips. Just something a little different but the wheels needed alot of filler becuase of the curbing.

How it stands now: Can see the bump strips. Those will be sorted this weekend

Loving the blue and orange theme just dont over do it. Tobes (bshaw) will like this :-D

Yeah, drums should only be painted black imo, you shouldnt highlight the fact youre rocking drum brakes :-)

How did you do them?

Bit of light sanding, plastic primer then loads or orange. But the orange didn't always dry right as I had to keep re-doing them.

Worth it though I think.
