Looks like I haven't been charged and i have the option to add it to the policy, surely it's there mistake though because I don't see why anyone would opt out seen as it's like 25 a year.

Could I add it to the policy online now and be like I've got courtesy car cover?

You probably could, but your insurer will probably have a thing set up so you can get a hire car until, for example, two weeks after you add it to your policy

Business cover doesn't normally cost any extra, you just as that it is included. there can be problems though, if you try to change ANYTHING at other than renewal times, some companies will charge for alterations, so tell 'em that it is their fault for not adding it when asked.

cant you have them listen the your phone call with them when you asked for the courtesy car. All calls are recorded and well it will prove either one way or another.
